Welcome to BLK Lens! These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of our mobile application ("App"). By accessing or using BLK Lens, you agree to comply with these Terms. If you do not agree, please discontinue use of the App immediately.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using BLK Lens, you affirm that you:

  • Are at least 17+ years old (or meet the age of digital consent in your region).
  • Have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms.
  • If you represent an organization, you affirm that you have the authority to bind the organization to these Terms.

2. Description of Service

BLK Lens is a platform designed to empower and connect the Black community worldwide by enabling discussions and sharing ideas. Features include posting, answering weekly questions, engaging in discussions, and viewing other users' content.

3. User Accounts

3.1 Registration

You must create an account to access certain features of the App. When registering:

  • Provide accurate and complete information.
  • Keep your login credentials confidential.

3.2 Account Responsibility

You are responsible for all activity under your account. Notify us immediately at blklens@icloud.com if you suspect unauthorized access.

3.3 Account Termination

We reserve the right to terminate accounts that violate these Terms or engage in unlawful activities.

4. User Conduct

By using BLK Lens, you agree:

  • Not to post offensive, abusive, defamatory, or illegal content.
  • Not to engage in harassment, hate speech, or discrimination.
  • Not to impersonate others or provide false information.
  • Not to attempt to hack, disrupt, or misuse the App in any way.

Content that violates these guidelines may be removed, and offending accounts may be suspended or banned.

5. Content Ownership and Use

5.1 User-Generated Content

You retain ownership of any content you post on the App. However, by posting, you grant BLK Lens a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, display, modify, and distribute your content within the App.

5.2 Content Moderation

We reserve the right to review, edit, or remove content that violates these Terms or is deemed inappropriate.

5.3 Intellectual Property

The BLK Lens name, logo, and all related materials are owned by Town Talk App LCC. Unauthorized use is prohibited.

6. Privacy

Your use of BLK Lens is subject to our Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect, use, and protect your data.

7. Payments and Fees

BLK Lens is currently free to use. If we introduce paid features, you will be notified, and such features will be subject to additional terms.

8. Liability and Disclaimers

BLK Lens is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to fitness for a particular purpose or non-infringement.

8.2 Limitation of Liability

These Terms are governed by the laws of The United States. Any disputes shall be resolved exclusively in the courts of the chosen location.
